The Celebration of Excellence event is held twice a year to celebrate our students’ achievement in academia, community, and leadership, and to acknowledge the generosity of our donors. These awards have been kindly funded by our wonderful donors who support our students and the community. This year’s celebration will be held online on December 10 at 4:30 pm to provide our students, parents, and donors a virtual space where they celebrate these accomplishments.

On behalf of Langara College, welcome to the Celebration of Excellence Awards. We are here today to celebrate our outstanding students for their excellence in academics, leadership, and athletics.
These scholarships and awards are intended to recognize and support our students’ achievements, but this would not be possible without our award donors. Your vision and generosity allow us to reward these exceptional students with the recognition they deserve and even more, help them achieve their goals. Thank you to each and every one of you.
I would also like to acknowledge the families, friends, and faculty members who provide the support and encouragement that our students need. Thank you for all that you do for our students.
And of course, to all of our scholarship and award recipients: Congratulations! We celebrate and commend your success, hard work, and commitment. May you continue to excel and achieve your academic goals.

Our donors' support enables us to create pathways of success and recognize the academic excellence of our students.
This year the College provided over $661,000 in funding to support scholarships and bursaries and created 30 new awards.
Collectively, we are positively impacting the lives of our students and enriching their learning experiences.
