Information Session

If you are interested in learning to work in the school system supporting students with special needs, come to an Education Assistant Certificate Information Session. At the Information Session learn more about Langara’s Education Assistant Program. During these sessions we review the program outcomes and courses in the Certificate. We discuss what is required to enter the program.* We often invite graduates who have been in the program who discuss the benefits of this program and the employment prospects.

For program details visit the online calendar, or contact Ken Pawlak by email at kpawlak@langara.bc.ca .

*(Note: Entry requirements include 100 hours (preferred) volunteer or work experience in the schools with children having disabilities, two letters of reference demonstrating the volunteer experience was successful, high school (or equivalent) transcripts, and a LET score of 3 or more.)
